Thiird Wave Coffee, a quirky little coffee van cruising through the streets of Perth, WA. Our specialty? Barista-made coffee that always hits the mark, crafted with the incredible, locally roasted beans from Rubra Coffee. We’re here to serve not just convenience, but quality and great vibes.

Our mission is to modernize the mobile coffee experience, bringing the Thiird Wave Coffee ethos to you—whether at work, private events, or beyond. With tailored services, subscription options, and creative ideas to support you, your team, or your customers, we’re redefining what a coffee van can deliver.

THE VAN.

Yes, we are that orange coffee van! And we take your caffeine cravings seriously (but not too seriously). Our sleek, mobile coffee van rolls in with top-notch barista-made brews, whether you’re keeping your team buzzing, spoiling your customers, or adding some flavor to your event. No lines, no fuss—just great locally roasted coffee, delivered with a side of good vibes.

We can operate out of a single car park bay!

SILENT.

Our van might be buzzing with energy, but you’ll never hear it! Powered by batteries, Thiird Wave Coffee skips the noisy generators and gets straight to the good stuff—delicious coffee without the racket or fumes. Perfect for office parks, events, or anywhere that peace and coffee go hand in hand. Silence never tasted so good!

THE BEANS.

We’re proud to partner with artisan coffee roasters Rubra, a West Australian-owned and operated company with over 20 years of roasting pedigree. Known for their dedication to quality and flavor, Rubra roasts fresh coffee daily, bringing out the best in every bean. It’s their passion for exceptional coffee that inspires us to serve it up with pride—every cup brewed to perfection, just for you!

THIRD WAVE COFFEE MOVEMENT

The third wave coffee movement is a cultural shift that treats coffee as an artisanal product rather than a commodity. Emerging in the early 2000s, it emphasizes quality, traceability, and sustainability, focusing on every stage of the coffee-making process—from sourcing beans from ethical, often single-origin farms, to meticulous roasting and expert brewing techniques.

This movement prioritizes education about coffee's origins, celebrating its unique flavors and the craftsmanship behind each cup. It contrasts with earlier coffee waves by placing greater value on the experience of coffee and the direct relationships between producers, roasters, and consumers.
